Nestled in the heart of wine country, this Wine Country setting features beautifully landscaped gardens, an event barn with loads of natural light, and farm-fresh cuisine sourced from Long Meadow Ranch’s own organic farms. They have multiple event spaces, both indoors and out, offering guests the rustic elegance of a vineyard and garden setting while being conveniently located in downtown St. Helena.
Local’s tip: We just call it Farmstead and everyone knows what you’re talking about.

The Lawn is a beautifully manicured outdoor space surrounded by lush gardens, perfect for al fresco celebrations. The open-air stage on the lawn provides a spacious, paved surface perfect for musicians, a lounge, or for speakers to stand on.

The Barn exudes rustic elegance with exposed beams and tons of lighting, ideal for intimate weddings or private dinners. The barn is adjacent to the Lawn and is ideal for up to 60 guests for dining inside (making it a wonderful choice for celebrations of life in late fall, winter, and early spring). It could also be used as the program for the speakers with chairs set up in rows to fit more people.

The Covered Patio is an inviting setting on the corner of the lawn. For larger events, it’s the perfect place to put the bar because it welcomes guests and is in the shade. A fountain and market lights add to the delightful ambiance.

Insider Tips for Celebrations of Life at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch Napa
The biggest tip is to be aware of the weather. In the summer it can be very hot. Be sure you have plenty of umbrellas (which the venue can rent for you). If you are hosting your event outside of the summer months, be sure to discuss a rain plan with the venue and your celebration of life planner.
If the Potting Shed is not booked, you can use this room for vendors to store their gear (which they really appreciate) and when you need to take a break from mingling with guests.
